Don's Story

“Unfortunately my story isn’t about how well the boots held up in crazy cold conditions or how they feel perfect out of the box with zero break-in or how they give incredible support to your ankles while packing out a heavy load (which are all true!) but how they were the first thing I grabbed when I left my house while my neighborhood was on fire. These books quickly became extremely important as I was standing in the hot coals of what used to be my house, digging eagerly looking for my wife’s jewelry or anything I could save. Being a local locksmith I knew that the only thing standing after these fires were people’s safes. As I spent the next 3 weeks digging out safes in sharp rubble I realized how amazing and rugged these boots truly are! Not only did they keep my feet safe and comfortable they didn’t show almost any wear when it was all said and done. I will always wear Kenetreks!”
