"30 years wearing Whites Loggers and cheap crap that lasted a year because it was waterproof. First time buying Kenetreks for the waterproof quality. Only waterproof boot I don't have to add an aftermarket insole to. Great cushioning wearing a pack. Highly recommend. Zero break in."
"I like them a lot. I bought the military steel toed boots for work and my wife a pare of women's boots as well. We like them for sure. I fit the best in 11. 5w, my only complaint is that I wish they had wides avaliable for all of their lineups."

"I have put 60 to 70 miles in my boots in the two months since I received them. I can now give an honest review as someone who lives, hikes, and hunts in some tough areas of Wyoming. The leather uppers are much too soft for any support for such a heavy lugged stiff sole. The soles do offer good traction, but with such flimsy uppers they cannot be called a mountain boot. I’m 6’2” and 200, in decent shape, my normal pack for shed hunting and hunting is around 25lbs. So I was very disappointed in the combination of a serious(and very heavy) sole, but backed with such a flimsy leather upper. They are easy to put on, but maybe that is where Kenetrek made the sacrifice, an expensive boot made for the “dudes” traveling to hunt in the west that can’t bend over to pull a pair of boots on. So if you put miles in sagebrush, dark timber, and rocky steep slopes like I do, I cannot recommend this boot. If you’re a slightly overweight, out of shape sales rep coming for your guided hunt, these will be easy for you to put on while someone is making your breakfast and you can brag to your friends about how much they cost. Please Kenetrek, change the name from mountain guide boot to Bozeman “dude” boot."

"This is my second pair of Kenetrek boots and just like the first I am more than pleased with the quality, fit and comfort of Kenetrek boots. My first pair were the Mountain Guide 400 insulation and are still in perfect condition, I also wanted the NI version for those warmer days. My normal foot size is 8. 5, I purchase size 9 and when used with a good hiking sock like the Kenetrek CANADA MIDWEIGHT the fit is perfect. I use both these boots primarily for Wyoming Mule Deer / Elk hunting."
